Sales and Business Development Officer
Silvermoor Haylage is a leading provider of quality horse haylage based in the North East of England. Due to substantial growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, dynamic and talented full time Sales and Business Development Officer. This is a unique opportunity where the post holder will take responsibility for driving the business development strategy and be the initial point of contact for current and potential distributors.
The successful candidate will have worked in a similar role and have a demonstrable track record of achieving results through effective marketing and business development in the equestrian market or similar. The post holder will be passionate, creative, organised, enthusiastic and forward thinking, able to identify and generate growth opportunities, work using their initiative and be results orientated to enable them to exceed expectations.
The role requires a combination of field, home and office work, the post holder will be required to spend two days per week at Silvermoor Head Office working with management therefore as well as working well autonomously they must also be a team player. As the success of the role is dependant on relationship building it is essential the post holder has excellent interpersonal skills and has an excellent equestrian understanding and knowledge.
