Silvermoor Ltd expands with a new National Account Manager
Silvermoor Ltd, based in Northumberland, has welcomed equestrian sales specialist Peter Forster as National Account Manager. Peter, based in Haydon Bridge, Northumberland, will be covering England and Wales. He will be responsible for the sales of all the Silvermoor equestrian forage products from haylage to Grassabix, Treatsies to Silvermoor Swingers and the Silvermoor poultry range.
He brings with him a wealth of experience with a combined 25 years in the equestrian industry. Peter’s career includes previous positions at companies such as Newbridge Straw Products known as Nedz Bed and Bedmax. Peter’s equestrian knowledge is in-depth and right through from breaking and training horses, so he knows what the equestrian. world wants from a brand and products.
Peter said: “I am delighted to be joining the company when there is so much excitement around the Silvermoor brand. It’s a real opportunity to grow the business especially as they launch new products.”
Since they started the production of haylage in 2005, Silvermoor has increased its offering to the equine industry from two to 20 different products including haylage, Treatsies, Silvermoor Swingers and Grassabix and also offers products for the poultry world. It is now a well-known brand name as well as a manufacturer of private label goods for market leading brands.
Ralph Thompson Managing Director at Silvermoor, commenting on the appointments, said:
“This new appointment comes ahead of a busy year for us here at Silvermoor as we are set to re-launch some fan favourites in a different form and launch new product Eco Treatsies. Peter will be responsible for growing existing sales to deliver growth across all products in the company.”
Peter joins the existing sales team and will work in partnership with Liz Smith who covers Scotland.
