Silvermoor launch NEW Cinnamon flavour Grassabix for horses
The popular equine forage block Grassabix has been launched in a delicious new flavour, cinnamon. Since the launch of Grassabix in 2021 they have become a firm favourite with our wide customer base. Cinnamon, with its diverse health benefits, is the fourth flavour of Grassabix joining TurmerAid, Linseed and Minty Unicorn in the line-up.

Managing Director Ralph Thompson, commenting on the new flavour, said: “Cinnamon has a myriad of health benefits for horses. It is rich in powerful antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties. The spice helps to regulate insulin levels, increases appetite as well as aids digestion making it great for those suffering with metabolic issues and laminitis that need dietary support. It complements the other Grassabix flavours well so was the natural choice for the new flavour.”
Grassabix are made of homegrown grass from our farm, the grass is harvested, high temperature dried with our sustainable biomass heat source to lock in nutrients and the natural bright green colour. It is then compressed into blocks and packaged in their fully recyclable paper packaging on-site by the team at our production facilities in Northumberland. Not only does this guarantee a consistent, delicious product and ensures quality, but it also minimises the carbon footprint.
