We are now well on with the 2nd cut and it would be fair to say that the weather has been a lot easier than last year, the 1st cut is now ready and the analysis, is extremely good with excellent proteins.


We have a new baler this year a Krone multi pack, which will be able to produce the new size bale of 150 kilos which we think will be of great use to the larger yards, if these are something you would be interested in please give Ralph a ring on 07971524057 to discuss your requirements. 

As you can imagine at this time of year there is a lot to do and as a result we have to take on extra staff so let me introduce you to our current work force; Seth, who has been with us for years and knows the business inside out having been involved in all aspects, he is also in charge of the contracting side of the farm as well and there is not a lot he can't turn his hand to.

Steven has joined us for the summer, he has a vast knowledge of all farming practices and having worked for us before it is a great asset to have him back.

Mark is also back on board this season having spent time in South Africa, he also knows our haylage machine inside out, and hopefully will keep it running to full capacity.

Keith is our main delivery man who will also help out where ever he is needed.
Christy is helping us with the haylage and the contracting side, as he is very capable on or off a tractor.

As you may have seen in the press or on the web site we have been looking for a new person to help with sales and marketing, this is a difficult position to fill and although we have had some very good applicants we have not yet appointed any one, if you would be interested please click here for the job description.
